TMYA is a registered group of dynamic, energetic, self-disciplined and highly motivated youth basically comprising of schools, colleges, university students and non-educated youth professional leaders with vibrant and aggressive objectives centered to bringing the best out of the youth in Maasai Mara.
The association came into existence when a group of young men and women decided to join hands to find viable and long-lasting solutions to the various vices affecting youth who are very critical to any progressive and successful society. The association comprises of youth from the age of 16-35. Persons above 35 years also join the association as special/seniors/ advisory members.
Importantly, our concept of being a youth is never limited to age but in thought and in action.

TMYA MINISTRIES
This department is under Saitoti Rakwa and Sereya Sayialel. It is the Association ministry which formulates financial and economic policies and oversees effective coordination of Association financial operations. Saitoti and Sereya are the bookkeepers of the Association and are responsible for day-to-day transactional accounting for the Association.
This Ministry is under Sam Kantai and Shadrack Leposo. It’s established fact that for every human being, sports are second to oxygen in maintaining a good health leading to happy life. It’s also a way of bringing our youth together and nurturing their talents. And in this regard, TMYA initiates a sports week every holiday for soccer, volley balls and netballs. TMYA launches several tournaments around Talek and beyond. The nature of sports is such that there is always a winner and a loser, and the experience of being one or the other is a valuable one.
This Ministry is under Jackson Lekishon and Sylvia Naingisa The mandate of this ministry is to protect, conserve and manage the environment. TMYA has made Talek Clean and Green through planting of trees, garbage collection and mounting litter bins around Talek center for garbage collection.
This department is under Felix Mereru. The responsibility of this department is to coordinate all cultural activities in the region. The department aims at promoting rich cultural values in the local and international fraternity. Traditions represent a critical piece of our culture. They help form the structure and foundation of our families and our society. They remind us that we are part of a history that defines our past, shapes who we are today and who we are likely to become.
James Rarin is the managers of the Associations projects. He is the person responsible for successfully overseeing a project from start to finish. He plans the project, create a schedule and timeline for the project. He is a highly organized and detail-oriented person with excellent people skills.
